Kiosco Verde
About This Spot
Stepping into Kiosco Verde feels like discovering a hidden coastal gem tucked thoughtfully away from the usual bustle of Cancun. It’s the kind of place where the air carries the salty hints of the sea, mingled with the subtle hum of friendly conversations and the occasional clink of glasses—a relaxed local eatery where time moves just a bit slower. The atmosphere here invites you to settle in comfortably, whether you’re seeking a laid-back lunch or a casual, unhurried dinner with close friends.
The setting is quietly charming, with an easygoing vibe that welcomes both locals and travelers craving an authentic seafood experience without a touristy buzz. Having its own parking spots is a small but thoughtful detail that speaks to the ease of visiting, allowing the focus to remain on the simple joys of fresh flavors and good company.
At Kiosco Verde, the heart of the experience lies in the way traditional seafood dishes are presented with a touch of contemporary flair—flavors that feel true to the region yet invite you to linger over each bite. From ceviches that balance brightness and depth to grilled fish dishes that speak to the ocean’s bounty, each plate tells a story of freshness and care. The menu feels like a canvas of the sea, inviting variety and discovery, punctuated by craft brews that pair effortlessly with the meal.
What really elevates the experience here is the quiet kindness of the staff, who navigate each request with genuine warmth and thoughtful suggestions. It’s clear that hospitality is more than a routine—it’s a practice rooted in making you feel at ease, as though you’ve found a spot where your presence is as valued as the food itself.
As the sun dips and the evening unfolds, Kiosco Verde remains an unassuming beacon for those who appreciate seafood served without pretense but with an unmistakable soul. It’s a reminder that great meals aren’t just about the ingredients on the plate—they’re about finding a place where moments come alive through shared stories, laughter, and the simple pleasure of good company.

Amazing meal. Some of the best seafood I've had in my life. Had multiple of the ceviche dishes and jumbo shrimp. All were incredible. Wish I had picture but I ate too quickly. Make sure to wear bug spray as there are some hungry mosquitoes around!

Loved this restaurant. Very quaint and authentic! Great service! Loved the scallop ceviche. so here’s an update! Back again one year later and things are even better! The staff is very hospitable and kind. Food is just a great!

We fell in love with the food !! The location its very cute and it has its own parking spots! A plus The food is absolutely amazing, the portions are big and at a very good price. Nice and fast service, really nothing to say about it! If you want to eat good fish and not with a ́touristić price this is your best option. Just wish they could stay open until a bit later, since tourists are a lot in this area, and all of us have different time, they should consider at least one hour more, so to have the chance to have more costumers maybe ;)

We had dinner at this place a couple years ago it was really good. They had a dude who was baking bread and cooking some fancy appetizers ( originally he was from Canada , I believe) .This year we just stopped for drinks. Overall it's a great place with good service.

Absolutely incredible! Cancun is not short of seafood restaurants so it takes a lot for a place to stand out, and stand out it did! Such fresh and contemporary takes on seafood dishes, and the staff are amazing. They were so helpful in suggesting menu items and hit the spot on every single one. Will be coming back here as soon as possible!

Delicious food with a special toich in a nice place. So happy we went there to enjoy oysters with chilli, ceviche yucateca, two types of empanada and the mero filet. All was great and the cherry on the cake: their own beer

Sunday lunch with my novia and her daughter. We decided to tryvit because it is recommended by the Michelin Guide. We were not disappointed. Excellent mariscos and service by friendly attentive staff and a nice conversation with the chef when he visited our table. My only complaint is the "inside" seating os not closed off with air-conditioning. If I wanted the natural climate I would choose the outside seating..
